Programs & Activites

Computer Classes

WiFi and computers are available free for patron usage. Classes for all ages and abilities are held weekly on Thursday mornings.

Twisted Stitches

Classes are held weekly on Tuesday mornings for those interested in knitting, crocheting, quilting or any other crafty, hands-on interest.

Children's Activities

It’s never too early for children to look at and listen to books and stories. Early learning is continuous activity fostered through library story hours, programs and books. Reading is the most fundamental skill that ensures success in education, making it vital that children enter school prepared to learn to read and write.

During the summer months, “Story Hour and Crafts” is held for the young children of the community and “Read to the Dog” is an activity for the children who can read.

Friends of the Library

Friends of the Adrian Community Library is an organization of citizens who are interested in promoting the welfare and growth of their library, in enriching its resources, and in making its services better known. They have a conviction that good library service is important to everyone. A donation of $25 per year is given by these patrons for the calendar year.

Adult Book Club

The Book Detectives Club meets the fourth Thursday of every month in the evening for those who enjoy reading. To read for imagination fosters new ideas and those ideas foster the creativity we all need to stay engaged and active and contributing. We offer recommendations and suggestions to help the journey along with opportunities for discussion and collaboration beyond the library walls.

Walking Books

Walking Books is a program designed to deliver and pick up books to homebound patrons.
